After finishing year 12 at ISHS, I moved to Brisbane where I completed a Bachelor of Applied Science
and worked in the food industry as a Nutritionist for several years. I then did some post graduated study part time and qualified
as a Librarian (yes it's true... the person awarded the worst or loudest laugh in 1986 became a librarian...!) In 1993 I spent
a year in the UK and Europe travelling and working. Then back to Brisbane and the food industry with a move into Marketing
(that Library caper didn't last long...)
I met Justin Carey through the work Touch Football team and the lucky fellow decided to marry me
in 1999. We have two gorgeous girls - Mollie 3 and Jemima 8 months...
I am enjoying being at home with our girls and am also doing a bit a work from home - freelance writing
for some magazines (Qld Homes & Qld Brides). The work is great, it helps me exercise my brain and is a nice diversion
from picking up toys and changing nappies - which of course I thoroughly enjoy too...
We currently live in Brisbane but we are looking to move to the United States (Salt Lake City) later
in the year or so with Justin's work and then onto the UK for another year or so...
I am looking forward to the reunion! I can't believe it has been 20 years...
