Since leaving school at the end of 1985, I have completed my apprenticeship as an Electrical Fitter
and Mechanic at South Johnstone Sugar Mill. I married Christine in 1990 and we have three children Kieran 15, Shannen 13 and
Kaitlyn 11. Arthur Tsak is Kierans Godfather and is still my good mate.
Fishing is still my passion and it appears to be a genetric trait as the kids love it too. We built
a house in Wangan and i continued to work at SJ Mill until the end of 1996. In 1997 we relocated to Rockhampton, where I commenced
a Bachelor of Engineering Technology and was employed at Fitzroy River Water as the Electrical Instrumentation Supervisor.
I have continued to study externally through CQU and am in my final year. During this time Christine
also attended CQU and completed a Bachelor of Nursing in 2001. At the end of 2003 we moved to Ayr where I am employed by CSR
Sugar in the Burdekin Mills as Electrical System Technician and Christine works for Qld Health in Home Hill. My parents are
also living in Ayr at the moment.
We come back to Innisfail as often as possible as my sisters still live there, and so do Christine's
family. It's nice to only have a 4 hour drive now as it was 12 hours from Rockhampton.
We are looking forward to the reunion and catching up with everyone...
