Since leaving high school at the end of Year 12, I moved to Brisbane to go to Uni and have been here
ever since. I did one year of Human Movement Studies at Qld Uni before switching to Griffith University where I completed
a degree in Recreation Management. I worked in corporate recreation for 7 years at API (The Australian Post-Tel Institute)
- providng leisure services and activities for employees of Australia Post and Telstra in Mobile Customer Service in a 24/7
call centre. Loved the shift work and the lifestyle.
Had a few overseas holidays to Hawaii, Thailand and New Zealand - took a month off to be a volunteer
at the Sydney 2000 Olympics at the Gymnastics. In between all this I had met Mark, built a house with him and then got married,
so after the Olympics we started a family... Now have two kids - Aiden, 4 and Hannah, 2 and a half.
I'm back at work full time with Telstra and Mark is a stay at home Dad - but now have a new role
in Workforce Tactical Planning.
I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone in June...
