Studied Community Welfare and then Social Work at JCU in Townsville. Moved to Brisbane and worked
with young people with challenging behaviours for 5 years. Studied education (adult and workplace training) at QUT.
Tripped
around the world for 6 months or so and met Jason (Cairns boy) in London.
1998 moved to Cairns and worked for the now
Dept of Child Safety for 7 years - have I got some stories.
Now I have 2 part time jobs and no stress one with Centacare
as a Youth Support Coordinator at a school and the second as a community visitor with the Children's Commission.
Since
moving to Cairns I married Jason and have a son Sean who is three.
