After leaving Year 12 in 1986, I worked locally for three years (mainly at the Commonwealth
Bank in Innisfail) until marrying Nigel Devlin.
He was in the RAAF at Amberley and I was transferred to the Commonwealth Bank at Booval in Ipswich.
Our son James was born in 1993 and Nigel was posted to Townsville in 1994. It was great to be back in the North, even if it
was not for long.
We have been back in Ipswich since 1997, I've since left the bank after 10 years and now work for
a Secondary Catholic College in Ipswich as an Administration Officer. Longing to one day return to Innisfail...
