After leaving Innisfail I went to Cairns TAFE and did 3/4 of a two year hospitality management diploma
- I call this my "finishing school"! I then worked for the National Aust Bank in various areas for the next ten years.
In the late 80's I met Andrew and we were married in Cairns in 1990 (I know - we were babies!). In 1998 we had our daughter,
Morgan - born on our 8th wedding anniversary! I left the bank and took 12 months off with Morgan before finding a great
part- time job with ARC Disability Services in admin. I am able to work school hours, so I can still have plenty of
time with Morgan - oh, and Andrew too, of course! I can't believe it has been 20 years since leaving school - seems
like just yesterday that we were sitting on the beach at Etty Bay for our last day of school!
