After I finished high school in 1987 I went to James Cook Uni and studied for a Bachelor of Commerce.
After 2 years of Uni, I got sick of living below the poverty line and got a job as a trainee at Johnstone Shire Council.
I finished my degree externally through the University of Southern Queensland, and have since done a Graduate Certificate
in Management.
I married Diane Massa in April 1995.
We moved to Childers in October 1995 and worked for the
Council there. Moved to Biloela in 1998 where I worked for the Banana Shire Council. Then we moved to Cairns in
2001 where I had the Finance Mangers job at Cairns City Council. In late 2005 we moved back to Biloela where I am the
Chief Executive Officer of the Banana Shire Council.
Di and I have 3 children, Hannah (10), Bridget (6) and Cody (4).
