1988 Moved to cairns to start pre-vocational course in Engineering and Construction at Cairns TAFE. Met Peter for the first time (relevant later).
    - Went to World Expo in Brisbane
- 1989 Started apprenticeship in Electronics with NQEA. Each year went to Brisbane for block release - theory training. (Peter was in the same class).
- 1990 Moved in with boyfriend
- 1990 Joined Army Reserve - 51st Battalion - in Cairns.
- 1992 Finished apprenticeship. Started work at the Cairns International as a Room Attendant.
- 1992 Joined the IDA organisation.
- 1993 Got engaged.
   - Became an Aunty for the first time.
   - Left Army Reserve - hard to do with Hospitality Industry hours!
- 1994 Kicked boyfriend out!
- 1995 Started work at Radisson Plaza as a Senior Room Attendant.
- 1996 Went back to Cairns International as a Relief Supervisor.
- 1996 Promoted to Supervisor.
- 1997 Dec, Went to Green Island as the Executive Housekeeper - live on.
   - Started going out with Peter - split 3 months later.
- 1999 Moved back to the mainland and started at The Hilton Cairns as Assistant Executive Housekeeper - in charge of the laundry. That was actually my title!
- 1999/2000 Survived Y2K by celebrating New Years at work!
- 2003 position made redundant! (Apparently because of SARS) Become a Senior Room Attendant.
   - 4 weeks later started at Novotel Palm Cove Resort as the Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
- 2004 Did Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
- 2005 New owners at Resort - Rockford Hotels company.
   - Promoted to Executive Housekeeper, 6 weeks later demoted to Assistant Executive Housekeeper! My new boss, I trained as a Room Attendant about 9 years ago, she still had alot to learn! So I left, after about 20 of my staff had already left!
- 2005 Worked for Cairns Laundry for 1 month.
- 2005 Started with Forde Recruitment as their Housekeeping Manager in September.
- 2006 Split from boyfriend. Started seeing Peter again.
   - March/April Left Forde to start own company - trainedtothemax.com. Specializing in the Hospitality Industry, primarily Housekeeping.
   - April moved in with Peter.
   - July bought second property with him.
Business is going well, Relationship is GREAT!
