G'day Old School Mates,
After 1986 I left Innisfail to work on a cattle station in northern Western Australia for a year
- best time of my life really. Commenced university studies in 1988 and after my first degree I landed a job teaching
in Charles Darwin University in 1993: I've been here ever since. At present I have four children:- Jaxon (13), Sharna (12),
Taylor (9) and Billie (6) with a "mystery surprise" coming in early February 2006 with partner Dale (lovely Irish-Ozzie lassie).
At present considering a change of career to medicine and planning to travel with family both nationally and internationally.
Hobbies are still reading, fishing, watching NRL and just sitting around drinking coffee and have a yarn. In a moment of madness
I recently took up bullriding at rodeos (stupid I know). It's fun in a crazy kind of way and it gives me a reason to keep
fit. In any case, I look forward to catching up with people from the old high school days for a good yarn, so if you're reading
this:- make sure you register and get to Innisfail by 10th June OK?
See you then, cheers Shane.
